View Full Version : problems with float and :hover in IE

I just want to say that I hate Internet Explorer. I made a page, and it looked exactly how I wanted it to look. Well, in Firefox anyway. As soon as I go into IE, the page is messed up. It seems to me that it's not applying the float property correctly, and that's why my div is below the navbar instead of beside. Also, my rollover effects on the navbar don't do anything in IE. I wouldn't really be worrying about this so much if it weren't for the fact that everyone insists on using IE. Can someone view it and tell me how to fix my stylesheet so it's viewable on IE and Mozilla? http://www.mygpop.net/mypage.html thanx

The floats are probably to do with margins and the rollovers effects don't work because IE doesn't support CSS 2, even though it became a standard years ago (I think it was in the last millennium).

darn... I'll have to work on the margins then. I'll figure something out for the rollover too... maybe just make the links change color. Anyway, thanks, once again you are the man :D

Ok, I fixed the margins and stuff, but now I have another problem. How do I center everything on the page?
