what does insert the script into the <BODY> section and <HEAD> mean? :confused:

thanx.oh I forgot wot does DHTML mean?why whenever I paste something it never works any tips? thanx.do you also have to put // infront of it aswell?

DHTML is Dynamic HTML.

Iz it neccesary to place <html> at the top of the html page? and does it matter if you do it in smaller letters not capital? :confused:

Html is not case sensitive and no, the <html> tag doesn't have to be at the top of the page. Most browsers will put up with a lot along the lines of placement of tags. That in no way means that you should code incorrectly, it just means that html should have been a little more strict about its semantics. Well, I guess that's why we have xhtml. It sounds like you're just starting out in the wonderful world of webdesign, so why don't you head on over to w3schools and see what you can learn. :)
