Change language problem!!!

I have a web application which uses both english and arabic.In one

particular form there is data entry for both languages.I want to make

english as the default mode in the input boxes which is meant for

entering english language.Similar i want to make Arabic as the

default mode for the input boxes meant for entering arabic data.Is

this possible in javascript,i mean the switching of english and

arabic language through javascript.If so how can it be done?

You should be able to specify the language for an input element within the html itself. Javascript shouldn't be necessary.
