Blinking Inserted Text in FB/FF

I have tried to search the forum for a possible answer but found nothing. Basically the problem is when I change the innerHTML of a DIV in any way, .innerHTML or appendChild or whatever, it starts to blink after a while.

If anyone knows a way to avoid this flashing/blinking it would be much appreciated. Thank you,

I'm not sure what blinking/flashing you're talking about. I just see text writing itself across the screen and the status bar, clear itself, and then write it again..

Is that the blinking you're referring to? Or is that supposed to happen (being an animator and all..)?
