No more internet for me :(

Today, about 50% of all the webpages I go to are broke

whats wrong

Hard to say what went wrong with just that information.

Do you use a proxy?
Did you scan for adware on your computer recently?
Is your connection to your ISP stable?

JAVAEOC, I'm surprised at the qualility of your post. You've been on here for a while and should know that you need to give more information than that for people have any clue in diagnosing your problem.

I was having problems a couple of days ago and for Unit this is me: No Proxy, no Adware for OS X ;), and my ISP is very stable (BT Broadband).

Those happens sometimes. You can especially notice them with broadband connections (mostly because phone connections make it less likely you feel them). Their main reason is because of DNS server updates and general server maintenance, not necessarily with your ISP, but along the main routes from your ISP to other locations, especially for transatlantic connections (because the main atlantic cables become bottlenecks).

Quality of my post: I am very stupid, and I do not know if I have a firewall, use a proxy, or if my internet provider is stable....

All I know is that some pages do NOT work for me when they work for others, and then at the same time this page still works, so it is not that I loose conection to the internet, I was just looking for some possible reasons for this
