Dear Gurus,
I have developed a speech enabled CD using Chant SpeechKit software. I would like to create an autorun.inf for my CD that will detect whether the user has installed Chant software before running other activities in the CD. If the PC doesn't have Chant software, it will request the user to install the Chant software first. Else, if will allow the user to run the activities in the CD. Hope my inquery is clear enough and sincerely hope for some reply soon. Thanks in advance and have a pleasant day.

don't whether you've noticed, but this is a Javascript forum not a miscellaneous development forum.

perhaps a moderator could move this to a suitable location for you, unless of course someone know's about autorun.

however, in light of a previous thread about chromeless windows, that might not be a bad idea. could set up CD distributed IE-based webpages to autorun in chromeless mode, sort of advanced Powerpoint-stylee
