Is there a Cursor that doesnt have another functions. Just the cursor looks different?

instead of pointer try auto, crosshair, default, e-resize, help, move, n-resize, ne-resize, nw-resize, s-resize, sw-resize, text, w-resize, wait.

and for IE only - hand

Leave the cursors alone. It is annoying! IMO they are worse then changing the colors of scroll bars.

There can be legitimate reasons for changing cursors - for example giving a span a mouseover attribute to simulate an anchor.
