Okay, I have been working with a client for a few days on creating a new website for them. This is what I have come up with: http://68.185.132.82/geoffers/NEW/
I am just about done with it, and all my client must do now is edit the menu (created by the the wonderful brothercake  ), add the pages, and change the content. It is completely XHTML 1.0 Compliant, and PHP based. Please rate this site from 1-10, 1 being worst, 10 being greatest, and give me a few suggestions on how to make it better.
Thank you very much for reviewing my site for me.

Well... It impresses me as not being finished near enough to properly rate it, but on IE5.5/Win using a full window at 800x600 resolution it fails pretty miserably.
I can't see anything of that fabulous Brothercake menu, the header graphic runs over the "Latest forum posts" box and the body text extends beyond the window, creating a horizontal scroll bar where I can't see any reason for it being there.
The "in the works" feeling is further strengthened by the presence of embedded and inline styles, the embedded ones featuring class names that lack clarity and meaningfulness.
Don't get me wrong: the layout has potential, the grey gradients are very tasteful and the header graphic is gorgeous, if somewhat overly dominating (and too wide), but reviewing this is as tough as judging a new building with half the brick work missing and the scaffolding still up.
Okay, ill go ahead and fix that up... I forgot to try with different screen resolutions when I was checking fro browser compatibility:eek:
Okay, I went ahead and fixed it. Should look just as intended in IE and MOZ (1024 x 768), looks almost perfect in IE and MOZ (800 x 600). In 800 x 600 mode, the title BG gets smaller, and I have a normal menu (in progress) if the javascript menu doesnt work. Should be good. Please rate now.
(BTW, if anyone wants to test int Konqueror or Omni Web and post a screenshot, would be appreciated).
