Error with MusicMatch ... Why??

Hi All,

I recently was attempting to get a good burner app installed to burn BIN/CUE files but all the ones that i tried (Nero, CDRWin, NTI) did not recognize my burner (ODD considering i have an LG 16X??- Could be the versions of the apps themselves....). Anyhow, after uninstalling them all and also uninstalling EZCD and re-installing it, Musicmatch 7.0 no longer works. I get an error that is as vague as they get :

"mmj.exe has encountered an error. You will need to restart the application" or something to that effect.

I have uninstalled and re-installed, tried older versions as well with no success.

The problem is that i was just about to start creating some CD's of music from converting MP3's back to WAV, fading, removing hisses and clicks,etc...... Now that i can't run MM any more, i am stuck as it is the only one i have ever used.

Can anyone make a suggestion for an alternate app? Or perhaps a solution to my abover problem?

Would winamp meet all my needs? Any other apps that are worthwhile checking out?

have you tried removing MusicMatch ? I never had a problem using any of the programs you have mentioned with LG burnes ... but than again ...

try to totaly remove MM and then see if after uninstall it had left some files in the directory it was installed in, than try installing it again.

Not sure what else to sugest, i know EZCD and Nero at one opint were not so compatible .. but that was a while ago.
