What server-side languages do you know or have the ability to use with your host? This really should be done using server-side. There are some Javascript options, but not very secure / reliable. You can explore some Javascript options for this here:

Although you will find some solutions @ the above link for some applications which do not require a high level of security. Server-side is the only way to go for anything beyond that ;).
