Anyone heard of IEAK (Internet Explorer Adminstration Kit)? If you have, have you installed it and used it? What is it for and what can we do with it?

I'm just curious as my office is running an intranet, and I'm building a computer system for the company. I'd like to have an icon on everyone's desktop such that double-clicking it will open up the login screen to the system. However, I do not want certain features to be enabled, mainly the back, forward, and refresh buttons. I was hoping this IEAK might be the answer.

I did try to install it, however it asked me some weird licensing questions and I didn't know how to respond -- so I just closed it down! I didn't setup the computers here so I don't know what kind of licensing they've got. And the guy to talk to is on holidays...

Anyway, any information you guys can provide would be great.

Thanks,
Sadiq.

I have used it back with IE 5.5. The licensing I belive is free, you just have to register on some Microsoft page and they give you a key, I think, it has been a while. The program is somewhat useful, you can set the default home page, disable a couple features. Customize the security settings, and stuff like that. Then you can compile it into a single install file that will install the features you specified silently, if you'd like.
