there are so many what one shpould be best 4 what im tryiong 2 do. What i am trying to do is make scripts that can edit every part of my site by using text boxes!! eg "new_news.php, new_credits.php, new_event.php" and things like that that will edit parts of my website so it will be quicker!!
What you are describing is a CMS (Content Managing System). There exist lotts of these, and quite a few of them are free and written in PHP. In fact PHP itself originated from a tool Rasmus Lerdorf wrote to easier manage his Personal Home Pages (The PHP later becam ean abreviation for PHP Hypertext Processing)
These free CMS'es you can download and use, will be farr better developped and tested then you and I would be able to write up within a reasonable amount of time.
If this is just a learning experience for you, then take a look at the hotscrips tutorial and take one of the newbie tutorials.
