creating databases?

hi all, i am making my own membership script for my website and the thing i need is a database, i hae no idea how to make one, can anyone help??

What server-side languages doyou have available?
What databases do they provide on the server?
How many users are you expected?
How important is security?

ok, i use PHP on my server, but im looking 4 a new one. im not sure waht type of databases they use but ill try find out. security is not that important but has 2 be at an acceptable level
