ERROR 2002: Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/var/lib/mysql/mysql.sock' (2)


Any Ideas what this means. I have a fresh install of Mandrake LInux 10 and when I type "myslq" at the command line that is the error I get.

any thoughts??

Probably means the mysql server isn't running
