Does anyone know where I can get good chat scripts from, that look like MSN Chat, or Yahoo!Chat?

All suggestions welcome.

I have a price limit of $935.

If you just want a chat, then chatspace.com has a FREE version you can run. its everything..they have one that you can buy and have more control for 1300 bucks tho..the free one you still have mod's, etc. but anything other then that, i'm clueless on it.

It is a nice place, chatspace.com, but I did not find a free version, just a 30 day trail edition. It is a bit high in cost... anything a bit cheaper?

have you tried look at any from Hot Scripts (http://www.hotscripts.com/)? you'll need to decid what language your using for the backend though...

What does backend mean? The whole site will be English, until I learn or find someone who can write any other language. It will be a struggle, seeing as I am making the site by myself...

sorry. i meant what programming language will you be making it in... hotscripts.com have chat scripts in all the popular programming languages.

It really doesnt matter, my host supports everything and more! That is the only reason to why I want a chat and a forum (for all those who are like you and me).

As long as it looks good, and is secure I have no issues. That is why I wanted one that looked like Yahoo or MSN, seeing as you can pm and chat in multiple rooms in a strict moderated environment.

I did a search on Cnet about 2 or 3 weeks ago for chatspace chatrooms and I found the free version that you are talking about.
