Problem solved!

Hi All,

Just a quickie to say ignore my previous request for help, having just looked through the code again (for the thousandth time :mad: !) I've realised that like a complete fool I've knocked out some other coding when I pasted in the timer script, put it back and all's hunky dory!

Thanks if you were gona help, til my next brain-to-mash potato moment!

To minimize the number of practically useless threads, it would have been a good idea to post this as a reply to your previous post which stated your problem.

Mmm, if you say so :rolleyes: , I thought I was actually doing the decent thing, posting that the problem was solved, didn't want any nice people that were trying to help me to waste their time, who knew it would be in the wrong place.

The fact that you posted that you had solved your own problem is much appreciated, just the way that you did it wasn't advantageous to anyone. Your new post says "Just a quickie to say ignore my previous request for help...". How are we supposed to know what post you were talking about or what your problem was. Another advantage of posting properly is that we can perhaps see how you fixed the before mentioned problem with the script. Most people trying learn javascript on these forums actually look through past posts for ideas on writing their own code. :)
