I just found out that webmonkey is closing down dude to layoffs in their parent compary Terra-Lycos. You'll probably already knew, here's the article anyways.

oh well. they had some good articles back in the day. i leared quite a lot there. but when i saw people asking why their code wasnt working and i was from webmnkey, and i realised it was because they were using register_globals = on. i realised there was soemthing not quite right about the regularity of their site. i think they should odanet their artciels (the rcent ones) to *cough*sitepoint.com*cough*

Yeah I learned a lot of ASP and SQL from webmonkey (and of course whammy who sent me there ;)) ... Haven't visited in a long while but I was always impressed at it's content and well written articles.
