Glass processors

I had read that IBM and a Japenese company were planning on bringing out processors that used glass wafers .... This whas a while ago, has anyone heard about this? Has there been any further developments on the subject?

[OT:] Eek! lol. there's a nice big spider in the middle of my floor staring at me :D ... better go put it outside. Haven't seen one this big for a while!

The glass will supposedly allow for smaller processors or something...

theres been loads of ideas for porcessors. there was even celery at one pooint if i recall correctly. could try a spider wafer now though...
