I am really new to the whole DOM concept. Because so, one of the hardest things in breaking into a new language (which is basically what this is), is knowing the basic API. I don't know what I can do because I don't know what DOM functions/fields are easily available.

Is there somewhere that has a list of very often used functions in the DOM paradigm (Yes I used the word paradigm). I can't seem to find a site that doesn't just bombard me with a million functions and fields and I just can't get my head wrapped around it.

Well, the DOM specifications are at: <http://www.w3.org/DOM/DOMTR>

It isn't that very many interfaces to learn.
