I've started some time ago a project at sourceforge.
It's called CLCSWI and the website is
http://sourceforge.net/projects/clcswi/
It's a crm open source software, like liveperson, humanclick, etc. but free.
The thing is:
I've made the TCP/IP server with Delphi but it's in a very early version, and wanna begin also with the client (web interface) but:
Dunno which stuff to use for making it.
I found some info about XML & actionscripting in flash, but i just know PHP, mysql & Delphi programming.
I know you guys know a lot, and maybe you wanna help & make a little effort so we can work in this project so any person can establish his free crm solution at his website.
Thanks a lot in advance.
Hope your answer guys.

You might want to check out http://www.phplivesupport.com to see if you still want to offer something like this.
You could always pick up a copy and look through the code and then hook Flash, or some other funky UI tool, to it.
At $99 a year, it's pretty close to free. It's not ad supported. And if your business can't afford $99 a year for online CRM, you have bigger issues. :D
Good luck.

but there is a lot of people who don't have that money to afford paying for such system, so it'd be a nice idea to make one free...
don't you think so?
It'd be useful 4 personal websites, etc. There're millions of personal portals whom would like to have such utility.
PS: $149.95 (see website) dollars here in Argentina are $555 pesos! It's an incredible hughe sum of money to pay 4 that system.

Well, Free is always nice. However, for companies doing actual business on the web, that would really "need" this service (as opposed to just a link to say an ICQ control panel), is $555 pesos too much? What does web hosting cost down there?
I know you are trying to build a team-based approach to supporting a project that you may or may not stick with so it lives on past your interest. But as far as I am concerned, as a person who makes his living by selling online and supporting customers, I would be hesitant to use somethng free for something this important.
There are several other packages out there, take a look here
http://www.hotscripts.com/PHP/Scripts_and_Programs/Customer_Support and see if your approach is unique or different and then try and improve on what is available.
Unless you have time to reinvent the wheel :)
Good luck.

Here in Argentina (4 your personal info) some time ago we were $1 dollar = $1 peso.
the vast majority of ppl earn $500 in average! & my family is not exception... so $555 "dollars" is too much...
Hosting prices here are from
$20 to $50 dollars/month !!
Lot of websites are going down here...
Thanks 4 helping!
PS: I have been looking hotscripts, there're a lot of crm systems free, but none which supports chat, so that's why i begun this project.
