I have this script I slapped together, even though I do not know any javascript I used basic mind logic to figure out how to modify a text fading script to work on tables. Now I have it basicly fitted out that it will fade the background of anything that has 'class=fade' in it's tag. Well I was testing and found out I could fade the background of textarea, cool, so when I tried to empliement it in a text are that was also in a form tage I got the following error from I.E. 6 :

'ms__id281' is undefined

I would like to emplement this script correctly to fade the bg of my textareas but I get that error. Please help.

Thanks in advance!:)

could you also include the html code of the textarea that calls those functions.

yeah sure:

<center>
<form name="form1" method="post" action="">
<textarea class="fade" name="textfield" cols="35" rows="10"></textarea>
</form>
</center>
</body>
</html>
