Hi all,

I would like to be able to create a HTML email newsletter to send to subscribers on my site. I know that there are many companies that would gladly take my Australian dollars for it, but I was wondering if I could do it myself? I have tried to copy past an HTML code and send it as an email, but it came back to me just as it was... Pure text code :(

ANyway, it was a cheap try, but I had to be certain that it was not that easy :o

Now, I would like to know if any of you out there know how to do it, or know a cheap site with good feature (preferably an Australian site) or do I need to fork out $40 every month? If you know of a free version of this, but that includes advertising, I am not interested...:p

Anyway, hope I can get an answer for this!

Thank you heaps!

So long as the email provider the subscriber is using has html enabled they will view emails you send to them coded in html the way you want it to be. If however they don't have it enabled it'll just all come back as jarble, basically they'll keep seeing <a href... in front of all the links and so on.

There really isn't anything special to HTML newsletters. It's just like sending a webpage through email. What you did originally should have worked provided that you can recieve emails in HTML format.
