IMAP access

HI!
I have some simple questions:

1.Can I read my mails /in hotmail.com or yahoo.com i.e./ by using IMAP functions from PHP?
2.How script have to looks?

pretty sure not in hotmail though there is probably some .NET API to do that?? yahoo I dont know, basically if you can configure your email client to grab mail from somewhere then you can use PHP to do the same but I assume yahoo is similar to hotmail?
