app that can do online game tasks

Hi,
Here's my problem: I love this online browser-based game. But i've to sit at the computer virtually all the day to react and build fast. So i wanted to program some nice app that scans the html-page that was generated by the game to show my ressources and everything and then follows the link that is called "Build Mine" etc.
I know C++ and some html and so on, but i don't know where to start, what to do first. I searched the net for tutorials but i don't know what keywords to use for my search. What is it called that i'm trying to do?
