Please take a look at my calculations attached.
As far as i can tell, i am missing 899mb in my C Partition. Very much needed room. Although im not installing my programs in that partition, some programs force you to put some files in C. (Such as Norton AntiVirus)
Can anyone help me figure out where this missing room went?
thanks!

How much is reserved for swap space (virtual memory)?
How much is reserved for the recycle bin?
How much is placed in non visible files and data?

just a few bytes on non-visable files.
There is no Page File on that partition.
I dont know about the Recycle bin.

Scratch that. %10 of the partition. So i guess that accounts for 307mb of space. Isnt that included in the WINDOWS file though?

Are you sure you aren't mixing sizes? What I mean is that usually hard drive manufactuers measure 1MB in 1,000 bytes and if you click on the drive in My Computer it calculates the size using 1,024 bytes as 1MB.
Like in the computer I am on now, it reads the boot drive as having a capacity of 55.8GB and it is a 60GB hard drive.
Also make sure you run chkdsk and scan for lost file fragments, cuz they could be taking up space and they wouldn't show up when you browse the hard drive.

No, this is a partition im talking about. Not a single drive. I have set teh partition to be 3072mb (3 gigs) so it should be 3072mb.
I guess what it must be, is the prefetch. It is Super-Hidden. Dunno.
