Well i usually use the search prefixes in IE (dont beat me for using IE)
And i installed some software and unistalled it later on. Then i realised my Search Prefixes were turned off. [they just go to a proxomitron page 'cannot connect to <search prefix>]
Search prefixes are those things which you can type a word e.g,
google and a search following and search for it..:
[I use Tweak UI to add/remove Search prefixes]
google javascript
ive checked the registry and they're still there i just cant get them to work again, is there an ON/OFF switch for it?
its a normal thing in IE so i dont know if it can be turned off or on.
If it helps, im using the Proxomitron - a local proxy; but it has always worked fine with the Proxomitron?
Thanks , Please help me fix the search prefixes.
Edit: Example of what i mean:
