Javascript does not open popup window or open for rollovers

Hello!

I am not a programmer, but a pretty frustrated web surfer. I am having trouble with browsing, namely:

* Javascript popups are not popping up
* Javascript rollovers are not displaying their contents

I am having problem whether I use IE (6.0) or NS (6.2)

For example, when I visited:
http://support.earthlink.net/harvest_inc/SYSSTATUS/sysstatus_pop.html

And clicked on "details" anywhere on the screen, the popup windows should open, but they don't.

I really need help here...I tried looking on your site and the Microsoft support site, but nothing I have tried works.

Any suggestions would be welcome!

This might sound really stupid to alot of people but hey, no pride to be lost here hehehe :D:D

Try using a earleir browser, like Netscape 6 or 4 or IE5x.

Interesting, works fine for me on IE4 with Win 95 platform (would you believe)! :thumbsup:

does this happen all over the net, or is this just happening to a specific script your making. How offten does it happen?

It's happening in lots of different places on the net, not just one particular site. Argh!

Norton security settings does this to my system:

Because Script-based Popup

I chose to have pop-up scripts removed or blocked and it does it to my browser.
Most likely to your browser as well if you have some sort of security - firewall -or ad remover.

JS in enabled in my case.
