Hello All--

I am a novice web devloper. Really, I have done all the front end things dealing with GUI, validation and what not. I now desire to actually make my first "mock" web site from beginning to end.

Through expereince and resources, I believe I am going to use php/mysql and run it on an Apache server. This site is a research project for me to build a class registration site for students. I will be giving a IBM cpu to run it on with 4 hard-drives (not sure the memory capacity, but its high). With the above resources, is that site attainable and what steps should I take in the development?

Are there like any tutorials that go from the beginning of website development to the end using these tools instead of individual tutorials. I'm having trouble getting everything to relate with the individual tutorials. If anyone can help, that would be just wonderful

Thanks in Advance
