A Virtual Magazine

I(and a couple of friends) want to make a virtual magazine.I saw that some virtual magazines are in pdf format and they are really beatiful.My question is how to make such a magazine ? Whick program should I use or something else ? You can see www.webdevmagazine.co.uk is a Bulgarian magazine and the pdf is really nice.Any suggestions how to make such pdfs ? Maybe I can use xml or the DocBook DTD ?

PDF is a format I read every now and then, but I don't think it has much to do with XML. Go visit http://www.adobe.com . I think Adobe created the PDF standard.

Beyond that, I haven't got a clue how to help you here.

Admittedly, you could create it in XSL-FO if you wanted to go XML. There's many xsl-fo -> pdf converters out there, but I'd go with Word, as there's even more doc -> pdf.
