Hello folks,

I'm using CSS to style a list of links (all part of my new standards compliant coding)

This is what I want the menu to look like...
http://www.rmiuk.org/images/rmi1.jpg
and I was tottally surprised to find that IE did it as i expected and mozilla firebird didnt do so well...

If you'd be able to help, the page (put up especially for you...) is at:
http://www.rmiuk.org/design.html
and the css: http://www.rmiuk.org/images/rmi_css.css
I would like it to look in firebird abit more like it does in IE. I know that I'll never have full control over a browser, etc, but I like to try ;)

I've still got alot to learn in this area, any help would be very much appreciated. :)

There's a lot of browser variation in the default margins and padding on lists and list-items, so reset them before applying your own styles:

/*--------- .menu styles ---------*/

.menu ul, .menu li {
margin:0;
padding:0;
}

...etc
