another urgent question for c++ programmers READ MEE!!

another question i have is:
i made a small robot (well you could call it a remote controll poliester ball with wheels on it) to controll it you connect several wires together can i use c++ to switch this through the serial port.
i would just want too connect together say {pin one and pin 2}.

p.s. this fourum is the greatest place for getting expert advice not even my local comp store can tell me this stuff. this is more thean any book could provide.

You can do anything you want with C++ ... Perhaps you should consult MSDN to find the api functions for controlling serial ports...
