Put the following in between the <head> tags:

<META HTTP-EQUIV="refresh" CONTENT="5; URL=pagetorefresh.html">

5 is the interval in seconds between refrshes. pagetorefresh.html is the name of the page you want to load, if you want the same page to load (ie refresh current page) then put the name of that page itself.

Hope this helps.

document.location.reload();

be careful with that, if u use it wrong the page will reload forever.

If the page you want to refresh is called 'index.html' then put:
<META HTTP-EQUIV="refresh" CONTENT="5; URL=index.html">

Hi,

I have a site that display the latest Stock Market indices value. But I need to refresh this page on an interval of 5 second. Currently I am using META to do the refresh.. but I am wondering is there any way to refresh and display this page only when it has prepared.. rather than leaving it a blank page while it is loading..

Regards,
Alex Chan
