Netscape 4.7 problem

My JavaScript function <body onload = "start()"> does not work in Netscape 4.7. How to make it work?

The onLoad will work in NS4.7. Can we see the script that it is trying to perform. I also know that NS4.7 was sometimes sticky with syntax and might require the "onload" to be "onLoad". Notice the upper case L?
