Hi,
the title is kind of self-explanatory I guess. I was using LeechFTP but I'd like to move to something else. I just would like to have some recommendations. So which one(s) do you use?

WS-FTP LE ... a very popular one.

It's free if you are using for educational purposes.
(learning to program PHP, Perl, etc. would be educational?)

Another popular ftp program is ws ftp pro :) I used to use leech ftp a while ago, but got tired of the connection errors it gave.

WS_FTP LE or SmartFTP are the ones I would use on windows, though I've used the command line tools sometimes when I hadn't got access to those.

Big vote for WS_FTP Pro.:thumbsup:
It's the fastest GUI FTP app I've used. Never had any issues w/it.

I like Cute FTP - I think it is mainly down to aquired taste.

I used to use FTP Voyager, but it got to be a pain to use. Now I use FlashFXP (http://www.flashfxp.com). I really like it.

Here's two I would highly recommend for Windows.

1) CoreFTP - Free client that connects through SSH so you get encrypted file transfers.

2) WinSCP - Same as above, just different program

on Linux
Gotta go with gFTP.
