c sockets dependancies

gday,

in VB6, whenever i used winsock i had to send the winsock DLL along with the .exe. If i use sockets in c++, do i still need to send the winsock DLL, or does it all go into the EXE?

Yeah you'll have to send the sockets dll along with it ... although you shouldn't really have to if it's going to be run on a windows system, the winsock dll should be present on all windows systems.
