I am using the following scripts to create a popup abd then have it resize to available screen. It works on some 'puters but not others and I can't see the rean why. I would appreciate help from you wizards.

<SCRIPT LANGUAGE="JavaScript"><!--
myHandle = window.open('racslogin.html','racsmain','width=400,height=400, status, resizable, scrollbars, toolbar');
if (!myHandle.opener)
myHandle.opener = self;
//--></SCRIPT>
<script language="JavaScript"><!--
if (window.screen) self.resizeTo(screen.availWidth,screen.availHeight);
//--></script>

when you say it works on some computers, do you mean different browsers??

Try playing around with

window.screen.width
window.screen.height

To A1ien51
screen.Width and screen.availWidth are not the same, but, you may be right, old browsers may not recognize the avail...

And... What could mean "don't work"? Tell us sharpely what happends

Hi Guys,

Thanks for your replies. Having thought about my problem a little more I made the following change to the first script.

screenX=0,screenY=0,top=0,left=0

That seems to sort out my problem.

Your respnses are appreciated.

The Dingbat. :D :thumbsup:
