outlook 2003

outlook 2003 icon in the start menu (as shown...) doesnt come up it just shows up as like a http://www.jew-net.org/untitled.jpg
ive tried repairing office 2003 etc. and rebooting..

it all happend when i accidently downloaded some winstyles changer thing and my whole style system exploded. (literally)

any ideas?

as long as the app works your fine. You can change the icon if you want back to the original, you would first need to know the location of the original icon used by outlook, you can search in the folders for .ico files, I think. Just use windows help feature to walk you through changing the icon.

i found out a way through the registry..
for anyone who wants to know:
i changed the registry key of:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Clients\Mail\Microsoft Outlook\DefaultIcon

to

REG_SZ DEFAULT: C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\OFFICE11\OUTLOOK.EXE,0

from

REG_SZ DEFAULT: mapi32.dll,0
