.xls to html/php?

Is there anyway I can get a .xls (MS Excel) file to a web. I have bills I would like to upload to a specific folders (one folder per client, then sorted into years). The php page will read the files and display everything on them. Also anyway I can include just the content of one cell onto a page. Thanks.

I think the only way would be to use COM

My server isn't Windows and COM isn't available.
