Can this be done

I have contracts that need to be made VIA the net. and sent to 2 places at the same time.

the first place is a non editable file that will be sent to the user entering the data while an editable copy sent to the admin, I need this to work as a real estate contract so it need to go through 2 pipes i guess you coud say i will make a "Macro inage for you"

So back to my qusetion is that able to be done, and if so how?

What is a non-editable file? Can't all files be edited once they are on a client's computer, as they are only bits and bytes? Or is my concern purely academic and you're thinking along the lines of sending a PDF to the user, but providing a HTML form to the admin?

yes that is exactally it. PDF is what i want and HTML to plain TXT. either or.

Then it can be done. You send the PDF file along with a mail to the user, store the contract data in database or some other persistant medium, and provide a login screen for the admin that leads to a form to edit the contract data.

To create PDFs there exist some class libraries, free and commercial. This one is free: http://www.ros.co.nz/pdf/
