I have the following table that I would like change background color when the mouse hovers over it. Here's the table:

I know how to change the color when hovering, but I'm having problems doing it while these checkboxes are there. They seem to conflict when you check the checkbox at column 1 row 1 to check all. Currently, I have it so when you check a checkbox other than the one at column 1, row 1, it changes the background color. I would like to add this hovering effect though.

Anyone know how to do this? Thanks!

I am kind of confused, are you trying to make the rows all behave like row 2 and 3 do?
You are saying the word "hover" which means onmousover ... are you trying to make this happen onmouseover, and get rid of the checkboxes?

Thanks for the reply. What I'm desperately looking for (posted in a million forums already still 100% unsuccessful) is what I have now, but with the effect of a changing background color on the table rows when you do a onMouseOver on each row except the first row. Sort of like this:

I can do the mouseover, but I'm having a pain in the neck time mixing this mouseover effect with what you saw before (http://a.1asphost.com/mikky/exp941.htm).

It seems like it's impossible to do. :p
