gday,

i seem to have "accquired" an unwanted toolbar in internet explorer. i do not want it and never did. however, i think it may have come with msn messenger plus, because it appeared after i downloaded a new version of msn plus.

i have made it disappear from view by unchecking it in the right-click menu, but i want to completely eliminate the toolbar. any ideas?

thanks,
-pcweirdo.

Some toolbars appear in the add/remove programs window. You could always take a look there.

unfortunately, the software i was infected with (i have removed it) had an "uninstall" program. running this "uninstall" program simply patched up the damage i'd done to the adware trying to remove it.

the problem is resolved now.
