View Full Version : In Need Eclypto.com to stay Eclypto.com on every page.

I need the address bar to always say www.eclypto.com no matter what page on my site you are on. So how can this be done?

Here's an example of what I mean

What you want to do is make your index page a 100% frameset.
Something like:

<frameset rows="100%,*">
<frame name="main" src="main.htm">

Moving to HTML/CSS ...

Probably a bad idea usability wise though, hard to bookmark pages etc.

I would ask, why do you want to hide your url?

I just like the idea of having eclypto.com on every page. I thought it would make it easier for users too.

Does not make it easy for users. What if someone wants to get an article or something from a certain page on your site, and they bookmark it, later to find out they just bookmarked the main page? :p

Yeah like zypher pointed out, it actually makes it harder for your users to use your site. There is no real reason to cloak the URL like that.
