I love the night time bit in the top left, but how accurate is it? PHP has no way of getting the User's time, and as far as i can see thats not done with JS...
(ps. tutorials look pretty good too - reading...)

Well, its done with Css, Php, and the server clock.
It also gets the days and then yeah, try visiting on the 24th, and 25th during day and night :-)
Basically If the time is xx_xx (24 hour clock) if after and before x, then use day, same with night, then for the added holidays It checks for the day etc..
Its GMT +1 (Server time.)

I'm not doubting the accurayc of your actual script, but i was meaning relative to the user, I'm on GMT so it's an hour ahead of me, but if anyone form the US visits then it'll be waay off.
And if you were being really pedantic then you'd have to worry about the sunrise and sunset times as well :p
