While the gif looks cool it is hard to read the text. You might be able to achieve the same graphic with html/css instead of using a gif.
<edit>
I am not sure if you wanted comments on the LP section.

Looks great from a design point of view, but usability wise: How do I get in?
Why is there even a splash page in the first place?
So how do I scroll?
I can't read the text (too small)Those are some of the responses you might get. I realise this isn't meant to be the most usable site around, but some considerations there (Those aren't actually questions, I figured them out but it took me some time.)
And then, It's a tabular layout
You're fiddling with the UI (manipulating the scrollbar). Apart from being invalid code, only working in The-Devil-Makes-A-Browser (also known as Internet Explorer), it will annoy a lot of people, including myself (http://www.codingforums.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=30176#post156239).

Colors look cool, but the grey is too light, hard to see/read and the font is too small. That's a good start, I hope you remember to show us the final site when you get it ready?
Oh, and that title is a bit too long... it doesn't really matter, but it's trying to be too fancy :)
