I have a logo in .gif, .jpg and .psd formats. When I initially created, I created it in resolution of 72 pixels/inch. Now some one is asking me to provide this logo in 300 or 600 DPI. I have to do this in a couple of hour (in 2 hours). What is the easiest and best way to do? I dont have any printed version to scan it.

( I tried to copy the existing .gif or .jpg image and the went to file > new and in that window changed the resolution to 300. Then saved the image in a different name. But then when I went to image > size and in this window the resolution still says 72.

Please help me :(

If the image was designed by you using a vector based drawing program then you should be able to export it again but choose 300 or 600 dpi instead of 72.

If however you don't have image in a vector format and you change the dpi setting, the image will turn to well garbage.

There are a lot of programs that will let you change the dpi setting, but i don't know which one you have.

Anyway my advice is this, open the file with whatever program your using and export it to gif or jpg and select the dpi setting that you want.

If that doesn't work, post the file to the here and either myself ot someone here can give it a try for you.
