Hi there, do you know how to create a small picture of a webpage, say 1inch by 1 inch to be put on a webpage.
An example of this is found at www.templatesnext.com
Any advice is greatly appreciated!:)
and also creating a small pop-up window, is this javascript?
And if so do you know any good websites to get these scripts?
Hi,
what you need is a utility/program that allows you to take a screen shot.
If you use a Mac, there is a small application on your computer in Applications>utilities> Grab
'Grab' will allow you to take a screen shot of the selection and give you a tiff file which is generally stored on the desktop. Open this tiff in Photoshop and do the necessary corrections, if any, and save for web. File> save for web and save as a progressive .jpeg file.
On the PC, I think you can just press the print screen button on your keyboard. then work on the file as above. Otherwise you need some sort of prgram like "snag it" which used to be free sometime back. i donot know now. Check out by performing a search on the net.
As for the pop-up windows Dreamweaver has this capability built-in , yes they are javascripts. If you donot use dreamweaver, try searching on http://www.hotscripts.com
