Do you have php enabled on your site?

If the server isn't yours, then you'll have to look on your hosts site to see if it mentions supporting php.

If you own the server, you need to install/compile PHP and restart your web server. If you just own a domain, you need to ask your host if he supports PHP for your package and under what condition.
