I am trying to write an application about output the Excel VBA report data and chart to web page automatically when user press the update button on web page.And I don't know how to figure it out,even how to start it? Can anyone give me suggestion or advice? Thanks anyway.

I think you need to describe what you want in more detail, I don't understand much from what you've said so far other than you've got a web page and an Excel spreadsheet that you want to connect somehow.

Sorry,i make you confused.
First of all,there will be one web page,and the contents are some numeric data and chart(like barchart,linechart) come from EXCEL spreadsheet.
And how can i link the contents from EXCEL spreadsheet to web page using ASP?

Your ASP page can use the MS Database Access functions (called ADO) to open the spreadsheet like a database and then read various values from the spreadsheet using SQL syntax or you can directly open the spreadsheet as a spreadsheet object and use the VBA (VB for Applications)syntax to access parts of the spreadsheet. Since you want to get some charts and the like (which you'll have to export as images) you'll probably have to use the latter route.
As I've told another today, the macro recording function in MS Office programs provides a great way to manually perform an action and then see what code is required to to do the same thing.
