Greetings! I'm currently using Cool Page to build my my website. I also stumbled upon a great site called dynamic drive. com which has code that gives gives your site a flashy look. Basically I just copy and paste their code into Cool Page, publish the page and the gimmicks work. Now, one of these gimmicks is a small picture of a smiley face that floats around your browser. Dynamic drive said I have to save the image of the smiley face and upload it to the site where the code is (without the image I just get a box with a cross in it floating about). My question is, how exactly to I upload the image to the site. I'm confused about FTP, as with Cool Page you simply hit the 'publish' button and it all automatically goes up and my attmepts at manually doing this with Command Prompt have failed. Is there an easy way to this with Cool Page? Any help would be more than appreciated and please explain things to me as if I'm the moron that I am.

man alive! check out the rules... you know the ones you agreed to? the mods will have to get out their mod-guns...

in answer to your question you pobably want to download an FTP Program such as SmartFTP (http://www.smartftp.com), then find your username, password and the ftp server to which you will upload your stuff... then upload it.

i dont think i explained that very well... but happy uploading

As Readhead mentioned, this is cross-posted here: http://www.codingforums.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=2932

Since this topic is more appropriate for the General web building forum I will leave the topic open in that forum and I assume this one will be closed when a moderator for this forum arrives.

As redhead mentioned, please do not cross-post. Cross-posting causes confusion and wasted time. Just letting you know for future reference ;) .
