Help with DNS

I got this from my hosting service but i dont know how to do it. Please help!!!!

Please do not forget to point your domain to our DNS:
Primary DNS: ns1.hc2.net 217.6404.34
Secondary DNS: ns2.hc2.net 217.64.204.113

did you just a buy® your domain yourself??? you should have just a control® panel via the place you purchased it from where you set up your just a dministrative® contacts/billing contact etc??? n' in therrre there should be just a 'enteryourserver'® names/ip numbers...:O)))

i got all of the other stuff like control panel and admin stuff. I dont know how to register my domain name to their DNS, im confused.

You will not be able to set the DNS via your website administration panel.

You need to go to the place where you bought the domain name, and find what is usually called "alter nameservers" or something like that, and change the nameservers to:

Primary: ns1.hc2.net
Secondary: ns2.hc2.net

do you have a website name already registered? If yes, then was it registered with previous hosting company?
